China has failed to make it into the last stages of qualifying for the past two World Cups, and Camacho hopes to turn that around and lead China into the finals at the 2014 Brazil World Cup. Camacho says he's confident about the opener against Singapore but after only 20-days in charge, the former Spanish national coach says he needs a little more time to get the side to where he wants them to be.

Camacho said, "We have a great chance against Singapore, and we are going to control the rhythm of the game. What we're going to do is show our strength on the pitch. I will tell the Chinese footballers where to improve, and I believe they can be world class players. Team China is in the progress of transition, it is not an easy job, our team need more time to blend together.
