Argentina great Diego Maradona might have some management tips for Mourhino after an unusual post-match news conference in Dubai.

Maradona had just finished his first official match as coach for Al Wasl, when reporters asked him about his son-in-law, Argentina player Sergio Aguero. Maradona claimed he told Real Madrid to sign Aguero before the the Argentina striker's off-season move from Atletico Madrid to Manchester City.

Maradona suggested Aguero could help Real close the gap on Spanish and European champion Barcelona. But Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho booked Brazil's Neymar Santos instead.

Maradona said, "I'm honoured that Aguero is my daughter's husband, and I am very happy for him. I tried to advise Jose Mourinho to sign Aguero for Real Madrid, but as he's not played football in his life he cannot know the value of the player. And if Mourinho was to have listened to my advice he would have achieved good results, especially against Barcelona. And we've seen with Manchester City, in a short period, the team is playing well because the player has the speed and good ball control which makes him difficult to catch."
