Barcelona thrashes Viktoria Plzen 4-0

Lionel Messi netted a hat-trick registering his 200th goal for Barcelona in a resounding victory against a 10-man Viktoria Plzen. The win moves the Champions League holders and their Group H rivals AC Milan through to the last 16.

The World Player of the Year was brought down by defender Marian Cisovsky in the area for which he was given an immediate red card. Messi coolly converts the penalty to put Barca up 1-0 in the 24th minute and scores his 200th goal for Barca.

Messi fired home a second after a nifty one-two with Adriano on the edge of the box in first-half stoppage time. Just watch his footwork - Barcelona 2-0

In the 72nd minute, Cesc Fabregas heads in the third from a cross by striker Issac Cuenca, making his Champions League debut.- Barcelona 3-0

In injury time, the Argentine scores his hat-trick, and Barca’s fourth goal in the dieing seconds of a game they totally dominated. (Replay) And Keeper Valdes set a Barca record for minutes unbeaten late in the first half when he reached 825 without conceding a goal.
