Sticking with tennis, a tired Spanish team could be the perfect remedy for Argentina as the two nations prepare for the final of the Davis Cup this weekend. Spain has won the competition four times in 11 years, and is unbeaten in 20 home ties, but the team's top two players might be running on fumes.

The Spaniards will play on their preferred clay-court surface in front of a noisy home crowd in Seville. But Rafa Nadal and David Ferrer are going into the match less than fresh.

The world number two Nadal slugged it out in London during the group stage of the ATP World Tour Finals. And the fifth-ranked Ferrer reached the semi-finals before falling to eventual winner Roger Federer.

Argentina features world number 11 Juan Martin del Potro and 64th-ranked David Nalbandian. Both players haven’t played a competitive match since October, so that duo should be well rested.

The draw takes place Thursday and play starts Friday.
