NHL: Bruins beat Kings 3-0

Defending Stanley Cup champions, the Boston Bruins hosted the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday heading into the match with 15 victories from 18 games.

The Bruins took the lead six minutes into the game. Zach Hamill’s center pass embarrassing the King’s goalie and Rich Peverley scores his fifth goal of the season.

Almost eight minutes into the second period, Patrice Bergeron wins a faceoff and finds Brad Marchand for the wrist shot. Bruins up 2-0.

It’s Marchand again five minutes into the third. From the faceoff, Marchand collects the puck and beats Quick in goal, again . 3-0 the Bruins.

Tuukka Rask made 41 saves to earn his first shutout for the Bruins. Boston in a white out over Los Angeles 3-0.
