FIFA Club World Cup: Santos advance to final

The Club World Cup is on its way to an exciting final matchup in Japan. Young star Neymar guided Brazil’s Santos against the Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol in an exciting semi-final match at Toyota.

The 19-year-old Neymar curled a left-footer into the top corner from 25 meters away. antos led 1-0 after 19 minutes.

His partner Borges smashed in a second goal in the 24th minute. 2-0 Santos at the break. eysol struck back nine minutes after the restart. Defender Hiroki Sakai met a corner kick with a header. The Japanese club cut the margin to 2-1.

But Santos got the last word. Danilo scored from a direct free-kick. He bent the ball around the defensive wall and into the corner of the net in the 63rd minute. The Libertadores Cup holder is expected to face European champion Barcelona in this weekend’s final.
