CBA: Beijing slumps to Zhejiang 118-112

The Beijing Ducks entertained visitors Zhejiang Guangsha on Wednesday. The ladder leaders hoped to shrug off their 2-game losing streak after starting the season with a remarkable 13 wins in a row.

From the start this match looked close. Stephon Marbury was tightly marked by the visitors. Marbury banked a bucket and drew a foul as Beijing managed to take a narrow lead. Marbury had 34 overall.

Randolph Morris, who added 19, hit a midway jumper, tying it at 20-all late in the opening quarter.

Beijing launched a run to cruise to a huge margin in the second q, but Wilson Chandler helped the visiting side stay in contention.

Midway through the final period, Guangsha managed to trim their deficit to a single digit. This triple made it a 5 point game.

Chandler, who hoisted a game high 44 points and 18 rebounds, put in a basket, giving Guangsha a 2-point lead and they went on to upset Beijing, handing them a third consecutive defeat.
