NBA: Knicks defeats Bobcats 91-87

Amare Stoudemire and the Knicks were taking a third straight win, and he cutting into an early Bobcat lead as he finished off the alley-oop.

Boris Diaw who had 19 points, 10 boards on the night hit’s for three in the second, leading Charlotte to battle back.

And Diaw, with some solid D on the night as well as he steals it from Carmelo Anthony. D.J.Augustin would then find Gerald Henderson for the slam. The Bobcats down by 5 points at halftime.

Diaw kept his hand hot after the break another triple for Charlotte making it a 4-point game midway through the third.

But the Knicks answered with Carmelo setting up Tyson Chandler for the alley-oop. 20 points, 13 rebounds for Chandler on the night. 8-point lead for New York.

Melo would help the Knicks regain the lead with the lay-up.

Later on, Augustin knocks down the three to make it a one point game.

The Knicks would take a 3-point lead with 8 seconds to go and Augustin’s final attempt is just off. The Knicks, beat the Bobcats 91-87 for their third W in a row.
