CBA: Guangdong down Shandong 102-92

The Southern Tigers hosted Shandong on Wednesday. The defending champions opened well with Chen Jianghua getting the lay in to go to makes 16-5, for Guangdong midway through the first quarter.

James Singleton with 21 points, 9 boards on the night finished off the alley-oop. The Tigers led 50-41 after the second.

Dong Hanlin extended the lead for Guangdong in the third quarter. 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Dong.

Shandong would battle back though, they lost Alan Anderson early in the fourth. Anderson who had scored 12 onthe night seemed in extreme pain before being carried off the court.

Guangdong would retain the lead. Aaron Brooks who had 17 overall would secure the victory. The Southern Tigers top Shandong 102-92, and got the fifth straight win for the league leaders.
