Juventus looked to keep pace with AC Milan in the standings. Juve hosted Chievo, and Andrea Pirlo received honors for being Juve’s top player in February.

Pirlo triggered the first scoring play of the match. He curled a free-kick into the box in the 18th minute. A header bounced off the post, but Paolo De Ceglie headed into the net to put Juve in front. It was 1-0 at halftime. The Old Lady was en route to extend its unbeaten run this season.
