The Diamond League will head for the United States and the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon. China's Liu Xiang will be in attendance for that event and he left Beijing on Tuesday, ready to make it back-to-back wins on Saturday.

Liu won his last race out, the Shanghai stop of the Diamond League. Liu, beating a strong field, including Americans David Oliver, Aries Merritt and defending world champ Jason Richardson to cross the finish line in a season's best 12.97 seconds on a rainy night in Shanghai. That race, also marking the first time Liu has broken 13-seconds since his Achilles injury four years ago.

Also taking part in the Pre, will be Cuban World Record holder Dayron Robles. This, the first race between the two since the World finals last year which saw Robles DQ'd for impeding Liu over the final two hurdles of the race. With Liu, Robles, and the American trio all taking part in the race in Eugene this competition is widely expected to be a preview of the London Olympic final.
