The latest stop of the women's pro surfing tour wrapped up in Les Bourdaines, France this weekend. And the final day of action saw the best surf of the entire week...as a strong increase in swell overnight sent the last twelve women out with great waves to catch.

The competition belonged to Swatch Proteam member Courtney Conlogue. The American girl dominated at the famous French beachbreak with a string of commanding performances in 3-foot high surf to win out in the end. With two major tour victories this year already, Conlogue posted excellent scores, including a perfect 10 in her quarterfinal. She edged past fellow American Sage Erickson in the semi finals...and that set up a final with Kiwi surfer Paige Hareb.

The American had good start, and backed it up with a solid score of 7.0 to secure her first tour win in Europe. The win moved Conlogue into the overall number one position in the ASP Women’s World Rankings.
