Kenya, one sport that comes to mind is, of course, distance running. The nation has produced in the past some of the greatest distance runners ever and continues to do so. However, it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for team members as they get set to chase their dreams in London.

For more now on the Kenyan Olympic team, we are joined live from Nairobi by Celestine Karoney. Celestine, aside from the doping allegations, one would have to think the most controversial thing down there, is the debate over who should make the Kenyan athletics team for London 2012.

1. With so many incredible runners in the nation, is it looking like there will be any surprises when the team is announced?

2. We all know about the strength of Kenya’s runners, is there any other sport that the nation is targeting as a potential gold?

3. At the 2008 Beijing Games, Kenya brought home 6 golds and a total of 14 medals. What is the nation looking at as a goal this time around?
