As the clock continues to tick down to Friday's opening ceremony, some of the biggest stars of the Chinese squad are continuing to arrive in London.

Among those touching down in the British capital on Monday was Badminton superstar Lin Dan. Lin, is the reigning men’s singles Olympic champion and is among the favorites again this year in London.

Also arriving was swimmer Liu Zige. She staged a spectacular performance in Beijing, winning the 200 meter butterfly while breaking the world record.

4 years ago, China won 100 medals in Beijing, including 51 golds, the country’s most successful Olympics so far. A dominance force in badminton, diving, gymnastics, shooting, table tennis, and weightlifting, China is also expected to do well in swimming and boxing.

Lin said, "I haven’t thought about it too much. I want to first make sure I do well in the group matches and then think about the next stage. I hope the next few days of matches can make me better and better."

Fu said, "I feel good because we’ve prepared for this for a long time. This is the third time we’ve taken part in the Olympics, so we’ve prepared all aspects of it. If we make our best effort, there should be no problem."
