Beijing’s a contender for its domestic championship this season. Guo’an fans wanted to see how their heroes matched up against the high-profile European football stars in China.

And Bayern brought its best. Frank Ribery and Arjen Robben launched attacks on both flanks.

Robben started the first scoring play then Bayern’s Claudio Pizarro pressured a Guo’an defender into an own goal.

Ribery got his chance at the net a few minutes later the German club doubled the lead, 2-0 over the Beijing side.

Pizarro made it 3-0 before Bayern began to play all of its substitutes for the second half, and Guo’an was still a step too slow. Bayern Munich scored three more after the restart to cap the victory at 6-0. The team will travel to Guangzhou for the Audi Cup against Wolfsburg on Thursday.
