Olympic day 6 highlights preview

Let's look ahead to day 6 of Olympic action which features plenty of highly anticipated events.

In swimming, all time medal great Michael Phelps takes on man of the moment Ryan Lochte in the 200m. Defending champion Rebecca Soni looks to defend her title in women's 200m breast.

In cycling. Team GB look to dominate the track events with triple Beijing Olympic champion Chris Hoy anchoring the British men's team sprint after Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins took the first gold for the hosts in cycling.

In table tennis, it's gonna be an all Chinese affair as Wang Hao meets teammate Zhang Jike in the men's singles.

JUST GUESS: Who will win table tennis men's single?

In gymnastics, Russia's upstart Victoria Komova looks to win her first Olympic gold medal in the women's individual all-around. But two American stars Alexandra Raisman and Gabrielle Douglas will be doing their best to defend this title for USA.

In fencing, Italy will be favorite to win the women's team foil led by the individual foil champion Elisa Di Francisca.

Gold medals for grabs in other events, including Women's Individual Archery.

Two golds will be handed out in Men's Canoe Double and Women's Kayak.

Two gold medals in Judo are also on offer. Plus three golds in rowing.

In men's volleyball, there will be an interesting match when 2008 Olympic champion USA taking on 2008 runners-up Brazil, a rematch of the Beijing final.

In basketball, USA's dream team continues their landslide campaign while China have a key match to play against Australia.
