Mo Farah suggests 600m race with Bolt

07-30-2013 16:25 BJT

Two men who lit up the 2012 Olympics not just with their performances, but also their sense of fun. Well now Mo Farah has challenged Usain Bolt to a race for charity, and the fastest man on earth has accepted.

Bolt, never shy of a publicity stunt - here entering on a rocket at the weekends anniversary games in London - said the challenge sounded like fun. He and Mo share the same agent, and are friends away from the track.

Farah, who ran a personal best in the 3 thousand meters just a few days ago, suggested a distance of between 600 meters and 800 meters, with Usain saying "it would be tough", but for charity he’d do it.
