BWF world championships: Danish duo defeat Dasuki/Gunawan

08-07-2013 15:49 BJT

In men’s doubles, Denmark were taking on Indonesia. Behind by 2 points in the opening game Mads Conrad-Petersen brought out this trick shot to try and return this, but it finds the net and they went on to lose the game to go one behind. Always looks good if it comes off but not on this ocassion.

The Danish duo survived several match points to win the second game, and went on to beat the Indonesians after this pretty straightforward miss. They’ll now advance to face top-seeds Lee Yong dae and Ko Sung-hyun of South Korea.
