01-20-2014 10:25 BJT

the Indiana Pacers continue to have the best record in the league, and appear to have no desire to give up that distinction anytime soon. They came into their game against the Los Angeles Clippers with a chance to win for the 32nd time this season, which would keep them at least one contest ahead of Portland and San Antonio, LA are known for their dazzling passes and flashy dunks, but Indy made it a point to show the visitors that they can soar as well.

Paul George and Company boasting the league’s best home record, Darren Collison driving in the first quarter, Swatted away by Roy Hibbert, George then takes the rock the other way, where he goes right at Blake Griffin, for the hoop and the harm. Pacers pull even on the free throw and Hibbert would block five shots in the first eight minutes.

More from George as the clock ticks down in the first, He casually pulls up and strokes the three-ball to beat the buzzer, putting Indiana up by 10 as the opening Q, comes to a close.

But the Pacers suffer a big blow right before half-time, George and Griffin hustling for a loose ball, when David West fouls the Clippers big man from behind for some reason. And gets himself ejected for a Type Two Flagrant Foul.

Losing West means Indy need Lance Stephenson to step up, and he puts them 20 points ahead with this base-line lay-up, en route to 22 points and 12 rebounds.

LA continue to battle into the fourth quarter Jamal Crawford’s pull-up J cuts the deficit to nine points, on his way to a team-high 22.

Later it’s Collison cutting into the paint, when George steals the ball, And just in case you think he can only shoot threes, That dunk brings the home crowd to their feet, as he throws down two of his game-high 36 points in dramatic fashion.

Yo-kim Noah had 21 points and 16 rebounds as the Bulls crushed the Sixers, Nikola Petkovic collected 27 and 14 as the Timberwolves did likewise to the Jazz and Terrence Jones poured in 26 to help Rockets defeat the Bucks.

The Warriors beat the Nuggets,Lebron James scored 34 to lead the Heat past the Bobcats in overtime. The Pistons topped the Wizards and LaMarcus Aldridge had 30 as the Blazers throttled the Mavs.
