Travelogue 20120402 Hong He 3, Yunnan Province

04-02-2012 06:38 BJT

At the southwest of Yunnan, there extends a vast stretch of beautiful richly endowed and mystical land. This is the Hong he Autonomous Prefecture of Hani & Yi Nationalities, much alike a piece of green precious stone inlaid at the southernmost end of China. Hong he in Chinese means red river, a romantic name. This is indeed a magic land. I am sure after this trip, you will remember it. From Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, we head south down to Jianshui and then Shiping. Eventually we arrive at Honghe County. It’s a real journey into your fantasy. (Part 3)
