Chinese Premier says reform measures to lift livelihoods

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said the nation´s reforms in boosting economic restructuring for a better growth mode will contribute to the improvement of people´s livelihoods and concrete efforts are needed to realize the target.


"Mass line" refers to a guideline under which CPC officials and members are required to prioritize the interests of the people and persist in representing them and working on their behalf. The one-year educational campaign was launched in June by China´s leaders to boost ties between CPC officials, members and the people, while cleaning up undesirable work styles such as formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance.

Methods and steps

The Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee decided at a conference in April to launch the year-long "mass line" campaign to boost ties between Party members and the public from the latter half of this year.

The process of self-reflection, no matter it is made by the Party or by each official, as a key to the CPC´s success in ruling China for such a long time. It is always easier to point fingers at others but it will do no good to improve the situation. Finding out our own mistakes is the most effective way out.
